On this page you can link to online guest reviews. In 2013 we started to use UpFrontReviews, the first verified holiday cottage review site in the UK. We have also had reviews placed on Google and on our Facebook page too. As of June 2026, there are nearly 570 reviews on the three sites below, averaging 4.9/5.0 over many years. Please check for yourselves..
The UpFrontReviews are only able to be placed by guests who have stayed at Higher Wiscombe. These are called verified reviews. The reviews so far on Facebook and Google are also from real guests.
We are hugely grateful to our guests who do leave reviews, there is no obligation, and reviews like the ones you can access below are always a real boost to the whole team that bring Higher Wiscombe to you.
It is now a legal requirement that we have a Consumer Reviews Policy at Higher Wiscombe, and ours can be found here.
