Important Note for All Drivers using SatNav

EX24 6JF is a huge postcode and some SatNav systems CAN STILL take you to the wrong property, or deep into Southleigh Valley where there is a poor phone signal. To avoid getting lost at the very end of your journey please read the following tips.

The best tip is to use your Sat Nav or road map to get you to Honiton, on the A30 in Devon. Then use the map we send you on booking for the last five miles. This will avoid errors and is really easy to follow.

(If you are looking at this on your phone whilst trying to find us, head out of Honiton on the A375 towards Sidmouth, for about two miles. You come to major crossroads, Putts Corner, with a large pub, The Hare and Hounds on the right. Turn left towards Seaton. Two miles along this road the country side opens up on both sides of the road and after two small turnings to your left, signed Southleigh, some white painted gates will appear on your left. This is the entrance to Higher Wiscombe. If you get as far as a brown sign to Blackberry Camp and Southleigh you have gone half a mile too far. Turn around and the white gates will be half a mile on your right. They have two signs on them saying Higher Wiscombe). This is our entrance, please enter and then head downhill for three quarters of a mile and you will be in the Higher Wiscombe Courtyard.

Our second tip to make sure that your Sat Nav gets you here first time is to use the co-ordinates below by entering them just prior to your departure into your Sat Nav.

These co-ordinates will take you to the entrance of Higher Wiscombe, which is on a good road, just off the A375 between Honiton and Sidmouth.

Three formats are shown below (one line for each format). All show the latitude and longitude of the main road entrance to Higher Wiscombe:

50.736021 -3.176293

N50° 44.16126´ W3° 10.57758´

N50° 44´ 9.6756″ W3° 10´ 34.6542″

For those of you that use Ordnance Survey maps the Grid Reference for the entrance at Higher Wiscombe is 317089 – 093586.

After arriving at the entrance, head slowly down the tarmac drive for ¾ of a mile, beware livestock and pets and you will enter the courtyard at Higher Wiscombe. Please take great care over the two speedbumps, these are located either side of the Public Bridlepath that crosses our drive, particularly if heavily laden or you have a low vehicle. There will be livestock in the fields and there could be other guests and children too, so please drive slowly. There are some milder bumps beyond the speedbumps, these are flood protection and again if taken slowly all vehicles should have no difficulty with these.
