At Higher Wiscombe we take great pride in our barbeques. You will find them clean, with gas and ready to use with a full selection of tools.

We provide Weber gas barbeques in all three cottages during spring, summer and autumn. They are thoroughly cleaned inside and outside between each guest stay and gas, including replacement bottles, and utensils are included. We don’t ask the guests to clean them, although a good scrape of the grill after last use is much appreciated as it makes the clean much easier! We also ask guests to put the covers back on after each use.

The Thatched and Flint Barns have Weber Midi Q’s with permanent carts.

The Winery has a stainless steel Weber Genesis S-310.

Many of the local butchers can provide BBQ packs, but best of all buy some fresh mackerel from Beer fish shop, lightly cook and serves with a salad and either horseradish or lime and your family will think that Rick Stein has been doing the cooking. For larger parties our caterers can provide a full barbecue meal, with all the salad trimmings, just leaving you to put the food on the barbecue when ready, options are endless.
