 | Tar Fire Barrel rolling in Ottery St Mary. November 5th every year, followed by firework display. Yes the barrels are on fire as they are carried through the streets! |
 | The world famous Donkey Sanctuary is about four miles away and is great for kids and adults alike. |
 | The Wiscombe Hill Climb is in the valley just below our farm. Many famous cars race here in the spring and summer. This photo shows the gathering of ERA's that was organised for the VSCC meeting.

 | The miniature tramway from Seaton to Colyton runs along the Axe Valley and has great views in all directions. Recommend parking at the Tramway at Seaton and going to Colyton and back. Good fish and chip shop in Colyton and some nice pubs. Lots of birdlife along the way, Axe Estuary one of the key migration routes for birds. |
 | The Sidmouth Folk Festival takes place in early August and is one of the largest folk festivals in the country. Much expanded of late, there is now a much wider range of entertainments to cater for all ages and tastes and you can buy Salcombe Dairy Ice Cream in Sidmouth. |
 | Beer Regatta takes place early in August each year and has lots of boating events from the traditional luggers to sailing races. Views over Lyme Bay are stunning. The beach has a variety of cafes and the Anchor pub has a beer garden overlooking the beach and bay.

 | Early July sees the see annual Air Display at RNAS Yeovilton, about 45 minutes away. Harriers, Helicopters, Seafire, Typhoons and the Red Arrows to name a few. Surprisingly great food and drink at the show, Tempura prawns and chips £5.50 and a pint of Pimms for £4.00 plus take away curry stalls, local beer and cider and much much more.
