All Barns are available for short breaks, see availability page.

For weekly lets the changeover day is Friday. Departure time 1000 hrs, arrival time from 1600 hrs.

For short weekend breaks the arrival time is from 1600 on Fridays, departing by 1000 on the following Monday. (Three nights accommodation).

For mid-week breaks the arrival time is 1600 on Mondays, departing by 1000 on the following Friday. (Four nights accommodation).

All the properties have wood-burning stoves; logs are included in the price.

Stair gates are included, along with a high chair per property.

Linen and towels are included, however you should bring your own beach and swimming pool towels.

A cot can be provided if advance notice is given, however cot linen is not provided.

Due to our rural location we are on a septic tank system, it is therefore IMPERATIVE that nothing more substantial than loo paper is flushed into the system.

Only guests listed on the booking form can stay or use the facilities at Higher Wiscombe.

No smoking is allowed in any of our properties.

Pets are not allowed in any of the cottages

Cheques should be made payable to “Higher Wiscombe Ltd”. Payment of the deposit is to be made by cheque or credit or debit card upon confirmation of booking. The balance is payable by cheque or credit or/ debit two months prior to arrival. For larger parties the security deposit is 10% of the total booking cost, to be paid by cheque, dated the first day of your holiday.

No Fireworks are allowed at Higher Wiscombe as we are surrounded by livestock.

We provide the following ecological cleaning materials. Washing up liquid, surface cleaner, hand soap (Kitchens and loos), dishwasher tablets, laundry tablets and loo cleaner.
