Flint Barn: Sleeps 6 in 3 Bedrooms

This beautifully restored old building has high vaulted ceilings, exposed stonework, red brick arches and old oak beams in abundance as well as an original sloping wall that has been carefully retained. The three bedrooms are all en-suite, two having wet-room style showers and one having a shower over a bath. The double bedroom features a six foot bed, the next bedroom can be set as a double or a twin and the last is set as a twin.

The well-equipped oak and granite kitchen includes a 90cm stainless steel Britannia range cooker and large fridge/freezer. There is an oak dining table and chairs and comfy sofas to relax into as you watch the flat screen TV. In winter the underfloor heating and wood burning stove (logs provided) will keep you cosy and in summer the slate floors in the kitchen, sitting room and dining area will help keep you cool.

The large private garden and terrace has a wonderful view of an unspoilt valley and is not overlooked by the other barns. The Flint Barn benefits from sun early on in the day and gets the very best of the setting sun in the evenings. On the terrace there is ample hardwood furniture, and in summer an Outback barbeque is available.

We are within easy reach of Waitrose, Tesco and good lcal food shops, and can also accept tesco.com deliveries if required. Upon arrival you are provided with a guide on where to buy local food, local take-aways and there is a full local information pack in each barn. Details of local restaurants area provided when booking so that you can book in advance if you wish.
